Dear Colleagues,
This week's blog post is to be made on "Final Reflection" about the course details by all of us.
Is it really FINAL in the true sense of the term?
Can it be final at all for teachers or human beings in general?
Absolutely not. We only complete the ten-week online course under the instructor Ms. Courtney Cunningham as E-Teachers from around the world. We represent the alumni of the University of Oregon (American English Institute) as a batch of 2012 international students. Keeping that in mind, we have to make the final post on the topic, but the reflection will continue to happen at the conscious as well as the unconscious levels in a very relaxed manner. There will be no time constraint any more, no deadline to complete the assignment and post on the discussion section of the Nicenet. Is it not a good exercise to have at least once in life?As Rukia says, it separates one from family and friends for a short duration for the sake of Intellectual growth. I had that feeling throughout the last two months, remaining awake for some extra hours when others in the family would go to bed and there will be absolute silence around you prevailing. I think that state can be called the state of nostalgia and flashback when there happens "actual writing" as the surrealists believe- in a state of "Unconscious" including hallucination and delirium.
I learnt so many things related to technology, web skills, and online learning as well as online assessment, it is really difficult to summarize them all in one post. Where to begin from and where to end?The matter is out of control as the mind is out of any boundary or border.
Just to put in a few words all these experiences from Courtney and all fellow colleagues is impossible.
I can simply say "THANK YOU COURTNEY & ALL COLLEAGUES" to give all these online to me as a virtual individual, a teaching professional from the East.
Let me sign off here and hope to meet you soon "virtually".
Best wishes and regards.
Sincerely,
Mahesh
